SKOL beer is available for beer lovers to enjoy in seven African countries, through a combination of producing the beer at Unibra breweries, producing through licensed partner breweries and providing the beer to exclusive third-party distributors.

RWANDA
Called SKOL Brewery Limited and located on the edge of the capital, Kigali, is 100% owned by Unibra.
Brewing SKOL started in 2010 and since that first brew, SKOL has grown to more than 20% of the beer market today.
To satisfy the tastes of the Rwandese beer consumer, there is a strong portfolio of SKOL brands available.
SKOL MALT
SKOL Malt is a blond premium 100% pure malt beer with no added sugar. It is slow brewed with the finest natural ingredients (Water, Malted Barley & Hops).

Unibra work with valued partner brewing companies in a number of African markets, who produce and sell SKOL under license, based on the SKOL recipe approved at the start of the journey in 1964.
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Our partner in DRC is “Groupe Castel” and with them, SKOL is produced in their two operating companies: Bracongo brewery in Kinshasa and Brasimba brewery in Lubumbashi. SKOL was first produced and sold in Zaïre (now DRC), in 1965, by the Unibra group.

Our partner in Madagascar is “Groupe Castel”, SKOL beer is produced and distributed by NBM Brewery throughout the island nation. In addition to locally produced SKOL, Unibra send two other products to satisfy the consumer taste preferences: SKOL Cactus and SKOL Force (see Export tab).

ETHIOPIA
Located in the south west of Ethiopia, the brewery, opened in January 2017, is in the Guraghe region, next to the town of Welkite. Unibra sold its 60% share to group Castel in 2018.
The first SKOL introduced into the market was SKOL lager, imported cans from Belgium, in 2016.
The first product launched through the brewery is a local lager brand “Zebidar”, based on the core quality and ingredients of the SKOL philosophy.
Zebidar is a 100% pure malt beer, malted barley, hops and water, no added sugar.
Unibra work through a partner brewer in Belgium to produce SKOL beer for a number of African markets. SKOL is available for quality beer lovers, through approved exclusive distributors and licensed partners.
GUINEA
In addition to locally produced SKOL lager, Guinea imports another SKOL product to satisfy the consumer taste preferences.

A blend of SKOL lager and Tequila, to deliver a refreshing crisp drink.
